healthy!

Once again, I was *freezing* this evening after dinner. I was thinking about something else to eat, and realized I hadn't had any fruit yet today. So I got an apple and quartered it, put it in a bowl, drizzled on honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, raisins, and chopped walnuts, covered it with plastic wrap and stuck it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Perfect! Put a few spoonfuls of vanilla yoghurt on it when it came out, to add a little protein. I'm so proud of myself for eating something healthy, with real ingredients, and it was yummy and filling and HOT. Virtue rewarded. LOL!

Maybe I can use that 176 yards of fingering mohair blend yarn to make handwarmers...

Yum! I've made lots of things from apples this fall . . .

For handwarmers, I made these for my sister out of scraps in my stash

My handwarmers are fleece ones, also a free pattern (JoAnne's).
