In fact, I'm not going to ask her to pay for these--it's short several items she asked for. At this point, I just want to move on to something else.
This is the Baby Poonam set. You may be able to see that I added a cable down the sleeves. I used the same cable on the hat and booties. Yarn: Caron's Simply Soft.
A seed-stitch sweater set, with single-crochet trim on the edges and crocheted collar. Also Simply Soft, except the pink, which is a mystery yarn from the stash.
Top-down sweater with booties and hat. I wanted to put pompoms on this hat and the Baby Poonam hat, but couldn't find my pompom maker and wasn't about to spend $6 on shipping and handling for a $1.75 gadget that no one here carries. Yes, I know it's possible to make pompom makers, but I don't think *I* can make one. So--no pompoms. It's still a cute set, I think, and I love the giant button. Red Heart yarn.

Saw your comments on Ravelry regarding the Poonam sweater and followed you here.
I think all of your baby items are just lovely.
You should definitely be paid for them.
You spent a great deal of time and effort knitting them up and any baby that gets to wear them is fortunate. I would consider them heirloom quality
Your knitting looks perfect.

Why, Chloe, thank you very much! (*blush*)
My sister tells me I'm too much of a perfectionist. I showed her a jacket I had made but not sent because it had some, erm, quirks, including an enormous neckline. "Babies hate things around their necks," she said, "and this is adorable." So I just gave it to a friend who just happens to have a little girl who can wear it, and she's promised me pictures I can post. It really is a cute little jacket; I wouldn't mind making something like it for myself!
Again, thank you so much! :)
