I'm Back! with a Timber update

I am FINALLY back on line!!

Well, he threw up his dinner last night, but I think I pushed it a bit--I gave him hamburger and it was probably too greasy for him. This morning he ate chicken and a carton of caramel creme yoghurt and that stayed down just fine. So I got more chicken breasts for him today, and am hoping I can get more yoghurt down him, to restock his little tummy with good tummy bacteria. Maybe tomorrow I can try chicken, rice, and yoghurt.

But he's *acting* like he feels much better. He's barking with excitement when we get ready to go out, he's once more the first one out the front door to potty, he wanted to play with his Cuz ball last night, he's sleeping on the bed with us again. Yesterday and the day before his temp was normal. So I'm feeling really relieved.

No idea what it was. I'm going to take him back in in about a month to get another CBC to see if the cell counts are better.

And this was the first time I cooked meat in the microwave. 8 minutes to do 3 chicken breasts, 5 to do a pound of hamburger (well, it was just a touch undercooked in the center).. I think I might have to find some microwave cooking recipes.

You know, I dropped cable TV not only to save some money but also to make myself do things besides sit around and watch stupid TV shows. Well, the past few days without internet prove to me that I've merely exchanged one addiction for another. I actually had to (*gasp*) READ to amuse myself--Dracula, Riddlemaster of Hed triology, and a biography of Robert Kennedy. I even got out one of my guitars and played it a little bit, and wished the piano was playable.

I'm not sure I can give up my internet access, but obviously it would be good for me if I did. It's just that, like, I have all kinds of friends I communicate with only by e-mail. I like browsing the web. I like keeping my blog and I'm starting to do some stuff on Ravelry. I do lots of genealogical stuff online.

Oh well. I'll figure something out.

Thanks, everyone, for the good thoughts for my boy. :)

I could NOT give up the internet, it's my line to the outside world. I do't care for TV, that's no problem.
I hope Timber keeps improving and is really O.K. Wish you all well! I would miss you and your T's, if you would stop blogging!
