I think I'm going to have to confiscate the ball for a few days and give her poor little schnozzy a rest.
I've been putting ice on it a few minutes every night, but I think it needs some time off. You can see the terrible bump on it below, and it's irritating her nose--she sneezes quite a bit when she comes in.
Over the course of the summer she'll get a callous there, but the first month or so is really hard on her poor little schnozz. Poor bun. She just gets back into the puppy pen with her beloved ball, and then her mean mommy takes the ball away from her. Life is hard, Taenzer-mine.

Poor Taenzer! Put it's funny that she does that!
And it's great exercise--she goes at top speed the whole time unless she's stopped to wallow in the pool and cool off a bit. She's in really good condition most of the time. And it's so much fun to watch her!
