baby picture

Here they are. Cute, aren't they? It's a better picture of the nest, too. Be sure to click on it to get the bigger size.

Are there usually two in a Robin's nest? They sure are cute! Either they are big and fat, or the nest is small. :o)

Three to five is what Wikipedia says, so two is a smaller brood than average. They do look big, don't they? but still young. Again, Wiki says they leave the nest just 2 weeks after hatching, so they won't be around much longer--just a few days, I guess, but I might still see them, since it takes another couple of weeks for them to become proficient fliers. Right now I'm thinking it's a good thing the evil tartarian honeysuckle is on that side of the house--it will give them a safe and easy place to stay until they're good at flying.
