We have more snow this morning. Wet, heavy snow.
The good thing about wet snow is that it sticks to everything and makes everything look beautiful. The tartarian honeysuckles all look like they're covered with cherry blossom.
The bad thing about wet snow is that it weighs a ton to shovel. Fortunately there's not much of it out there, and I think it's stopped, at least for now.
However, when I was out with the dogs this morning, I heard a cardinal and a purple finch singing. Not exactly the "dawn chorus" yet, but definitely the sound of spring on the move. If the snow ever melts off, maybe I'll find daffodil leaves. (Remind me to plant crocus this fall.)
