Ta Da!

Finally! Pictures!
I'd first like to note that yes, steam pressing does help flatten out edges that want to roll. You do get a kind of limp fabric, but I think that with these two garments it's okay.

I think this jacket will look terrific over a black turtleneck. I suppose it would look fine on its own as well.

I think this turned out a little on the small side, but if I can just lose that last 15 pounds it should fit just fine! *lol* And it is a fly-away style--it's not really supposed to meet in front except at the top where the pin is.

Here's a close-up of the bottom and part of the front edges. You can see how flat they are. It will be interesting to see if they stay flat over the course of a day. I'm handling them a bit gingerly right now.

These are both made with Noro's Cash Iroha, and I really like the yarn. I liked working with it and I like the way it turned out. I still have about 2 skeins (more or less) of black and 10 skeins of dark blue. I'd like to get some cream and make a sweater that has a panel of aran cabling in cream in the center front and the rest of the sweater is plain stocking stitch in the dark blue. I think that would be pretty striking and look nice. There'd be a rope cable in dark blue on either side of the cream panel to tie it all together.

So--back to the collar.

I am getting ready to seam the pieces of the Koala cardigan together today. The collar is confusing me, but I will play with it and make it work. ingYour sweater looks really nice.
