Someone got some crate-time to think over the error of her ways.
I was surprised, because this has not been a problem in the past. I don't know what inspired her last night. Silly dog.
I wore my new sweater yesterday and got several compliments. The ribbed lower sleeves seemed to be the design feature that boosts it from "Yeah, nice sweater" to "Oh! That's nice!" It looks pretty plain in the picture, I guess, but I was aiming for something I can wear for a long time, so I think this works. And it's soooooooo soft and comfy.
I started it November 20 so that's pretty fast work (esp. considering that it took me all freakin' summer to make 4 baby sweaters!).
I've tentatively started another sweater. I'm working with the Double-Breasted Jacket from the Vogue Very Easy Knits book (p. 38). It's a classic-looking little jacket for office wear. I'm using the silver-grey Noro Cash Iroha, and thinking I might do the collar and edge the sleeves with black chenille (which I just happen to have a skein of), or the black Cash Iroha from the stash, and put shiny little black ball-shaped buttons on it. The only thing I'm worried about is whether I have enough yarn. The directions call for 11 balls of a yarn that has 90 m per ball, and I have 10 skeins of Noro at 91 m per skein. I'm *hoping* that 11th ball will go into the collar! I'm using a US 7 needle--which is the size called for--not sure if it should be a size larger or not. I'm not sure how much body the fabric should have. Time will tell, I guess.

Congratulations on your finished sweater! I like the sleeves too. :o) Well, I guess Taenzer was just hungry, and could not resist chicken. :o)
Several weeks ago SOMEBODY (not me) left a plate of hamburger on the kitchen island and left the room.
Mysterious disappearance! Aliens, do you think?
