It's a dreary, rainy, very windy day. It was clear last night, though, and I tried to get a picture of the full moon, which was glorious, round and gold and very large, and of Venus, bright and brilliant, but apparently I need a tripod. Venus looked like a UFO, all wiggly-squiggly. A location a little farther away from the main drag would help, too--my pictures of the moon were framed by power and phone wires. Not very scenic, I'm afraid.
But here's a picture of my short jacket. I picked up stitches for the short-row sleeve cap this afternoon, and voila--so far so good. I haven't tried it on, but at the moment I'm pleased with it
--the wraps are invisible and there are no holes! I'll work on the sleeve tomorrow--it's supposed to rain even more tomorrow and possibly turn to ice, a good day to stay in and knit.

I ran errands this morning, and took the dogs with me. They like to come and people-watch. Timber always sits in the driver's seat, and people always crack jokes about it. My standard reply is "I keep telling him, he's only 5, he's not old enough to drive."
