I don't know what yarn this is. I thought I'd saved the ball band, but I guess I didn't. There was just the one ball, and I believe it's mohair and acrylic. You can't see it, but there's ribbing at both ends of this. I think Taenzer doesn't like it very much, but she looks beautiful.
This is another one-skein simple y/o lace scarf, just something to drape around my neck to keep it warm at work. It's silk chenille that I got from Jocelyn's Fiber Farm years ago and I think it's the Tropical Storm colorway. It's sooooooo soft. If I were to do it again I'd make it with a garter stitch instead of stocking stitch base to keep it from rolling up like it does.

This is a close-up, and the colors are pretty accurate--they're a tad more intense than this, but it's close.

I've been working on this one at least a year, off and on--I carried it around in the van for a while and worked on it at stop lights and train crossings. It's Lionbrand Moonlight Mohair, Arctic colorway(?) trimmed with black chenille, garter stitch worked on one size 3 needle and one size 11 needle. It's semi-huge (for a scarf) and could be used for a stole, or draped over my head and then wrapped around my neck. I think it looks great on Taenzer!

Beautiful pictures of Taenzer. They scarves look very nice too.
Thank you. She is a beautiful girl, isn't she? The scarves aren't anything compared to those gorgeous scarves you've been knitting!! But they were relaxing to knit and they'll be worn, so not a total waste of time and yarn. :)
