new puppy?

Actually, it's the result of half an hour spent combing Taenzer. And I didn't even get to her right side! This is the dog without much coat.

I think I'm about to surrender and take Timber in for a bath, comb-out, and nail trim. Timber's the first dog I've never been able to groom by myself. The groomer at the vet's isn't the best groomer around, but I can't get him to the groomer I'd prefer to take him to, and she's better than anyone else in town that I've heard of, so... I'm just afraid it will make him wary of going to the vet, and of course I'd prefer that didn't happen.

Isn't her coat a pretty blend of colors? The lighter-colored stuff is a bit coarse, but the dark stuff is very fine and soft. I'm saving it. (I'm still hoping to get what I saved for Stella spun some day.)
