FO: Seed stitch sweater

Well, here it is. I'm not happy with it--as usual! I still like the idea, I just failed in the execution. Among other things, that collar is a mess. The yarn is really too heavy to make nice lace. I won't list the other faults.

The sweater is from Family Circle Knitting and Crochet Winter 96-97, made with Caron's Simply Soft, on size 5 circs and dpns and a size F crochet hook.

Next up, Baby Poonam sweater.

It's very cute, and if it's as soft as it looks, the Baby should like it! It's a pity that it's so much work, and Babies grow out of their clothes so fast.

Oh, it's not so much work, compared with a sweater for, say, me! And I really love making baby clothes, really, it's just frustrating to not have it come out the way I wish it would.

Baby is two days old now! (mom had a C-section the 21st)
