BRADLEY RULES!!!

I just wanted to say that.

Bradley is the computer geek at work who is also good at many other things, including phones. My phones stopped working Tuesday--totally dead line--but when I toted one outside to plug it into the test plug, I got a dial tone. Bradley came out last night to look at things and discovered that the problem was (1) dirty wires in the box (so he snipped off the dirty part and stripped a new length to hook up with), and (2) a defective wire in the bedroom (probably caused by me when I moved Timber's crate Monday night to get the AC into the window), so I'm going to go get a new wire.

The guy who cleaned up the fallen tree mess brought most of his family at one time or another, and they're delightful, kind people and I'm very grateful to them. Taenzer had a wonderful time playing on the stack of 7-foot-long logs, and I was glad to see her messing with it, because it made her think about what she was doing with her feet. One of the problems I've had in training her is that she has no idea she has back feet, but I think on these logs she had to pay attention to what was going on in back as well as in front. Plus it was not quite steady footing, and at first she was a little worried, but then she got the hang of it, so it was a good confidence builder, too.

Now I have to figure out how to recreate it. I thought about having them leave it, but I was worried about bugs, termites, and other unpleasantnesses, so I just had the family remove them. It looks really bare out there now, nothing at all fun for her. I need to go cruise the aisles of Farm King and see what I can find that would provide a safe challenge for her.
