Uh-Oh

Someone--whose name begins with T--ate an entire tub of margarine this afternoon.

I expect I'll be hustling somebody's fuzzy butt outside about 2 a.m.

I'm not going to take ALL the blame for leaving the margarine out on the kitchen counter because I've left it out unmolested for years. I don't know what snapped in that little doggy brain this afternoon. But the margarine will take up permanent residence in the fridge from now on.

Something similar happened when Biko was about 6 month old. I left 1 lbs butter out (I think I wanted to bake something), but we had to go somewhere. She was left in the kitchen with the baby door closed. She ate the whole lb of butter, and one burger bun was gone too. Later she barfed it up, and she was not hungry for two days. She's never taken anything from that counter again. Unfortunately she thinks everything eatable on the coffee table within her reach was put there for her. (Sam's the same that way). My son always leaves stuff there, and left alone with that temptation they can not resist. Hope your T will be O.K.

Timber, bless him, didn't barf. Or get diarrhea. He just lost his appetite for a day. Then he got up and found a roll of tape to chew. That boy! Some days he acts like he's still 6 months old!

I can leave food out in the living room if Taenzer is there. Not indefinitely, but long enough to get into the kitchen for a napkin or something. Timber? I'd take the plate with me!
