The Iceland yarn arrived today (Jimmy Beans Wool is REALLY fast delivery). It's still not quite as soft as the handpaint I'm using--my notion of "super soft" obviously differs from the copywriters. But it's less harsh than the dark blue I was using. It'll look okay, I guess. Imagine the sweater with turquoise sleeves. I've got to find my notes on how long and when to decrease

I put the yarn with the circular sweater I started over the weekend, just to see if I could use it, and I could I guess, but am not sure I want to. I'm still thinking pink or ink(blue) for the sleeves and trim on this.

Yesterday Taenzer was asleep on the sofa. She had her head tucked down and looked so cute, but as soon as I picked up the camera that radar they have kicked in and she raised her head, and I couldn't wait her out, so I went ahead and took the picture anyway. I'm posting two different versions, one with flash and one with natural light. I like the natural-light one best (since I wasn't having to worry about color accuracy!).

She looks so comfortable on the sofa. I want to cuddle with her and take a nap. I was tired even as I got up this morining. I like the natural light onen better too.
She is a sweet snuggle-bunny, although she's not good about lying-down snuggles. She likes to sit up with her back against me, then I put my arm around her. OR she'll lie down beside me when I'm playing a computer game and put her head in my lap, which is very very sweet. Her favorite thing is to stand in your lap and lick your face. But she only tolerates bed-snuggles, and gets up and moves as soon as politeness allows. *sigh* Timber, on the other hand, is a lovely nap partner when he wants to be. I know what you mean about being tired some mornings when you get up--I hope you're feeling better and more rested now.
