Ooo, I feel so technological!

I can't remember who the speakers are--the Dormouse and the Mad Hatter, I think. I keep getting butter on my laptop--so far just on the outside...

Last week I added 1 GB of RAM to my desktop.

Last night I spent two hours figuring out why the modem in my laptop wasn't working and how to make it work. I still don't know why it stopped working, but I did get it working again. It's still slow as molasses to load, and I can't figure that out, either--it says it's running around 44-46 kbps. But it's working!

And tonight I took movies with my little digital camera for the first time. They're pretty awful because I had no idea what I was doing, but I kept a few of them--partly because the dogs are cute and partly so I can look back in a few months and see how far I've come. Maybe in the interim I can learn how to edit them, and maybe stitch them together, so that instead of six 15-second movies, I've got one 60-second movie (bad parts edited out!).
