I'm home for the rest of the week because I don't have a pair of glasses, and I can't put the contact in until I see the doc again next Friday afternoon. And I'm SOOOOOoooo nearsighted that I'm a danger to everyone with one contact in and one out.
After he put the fluorescent stuff in my eye the optometrist said he could see the track of the stake across my eye. I wasn't at all surprised. It's abraded, of course, and he says there are some tiny tears in the "skin" of the sclera and cornea, so I'm doing antibiotic eyedrops 3x a day for the next 10 days.
Okay, so I can't really read. I can't work on either of my current knitting projects because I need to be able to visually focus on them. I can't drive. So I guess I'll take the Ts out to play, and pull weeds, and nap--both eyes get tired--and see if I can find a worsted-weight or bulky yarn I can use to make a sweater for my new nephew, BezaLeo.
Right now I'm taking the Ts out to play.

Wow, that was close! Hope the time goes by quickly. I'm very nearsighted too. You could listen to music, and tweedly your thumbs. ;o) But the T's will enjoy you more outside. Good luck!
Weeding? Not without safety glasses, I hope! :)
