T cuteness

Okay. The Ts are getting old enough to have the run of the house pretty much all day now (knock wood). I had started by closing the door at the top of the kitchen steps so they couldn't get into the basement because Timber has no respect at all for baby gates (Taenzer thinks they eat puppies and barks whenever one falls over--it was obviously trying to get her!). Then Annie started peeing in random places--mostly because I wasn't keeping her box clean--so I wanted her to have access to the basement as an emergency pee-spot. So I rigged up a piece of string to hook around the door knob so the door could open enough for a cat to slip through but no Ts. Every evening when I would go home, there would be two black T-noses poking through the little opening to greet me.

Lately I've been pushing the door to (it doesn't close all the way for a long and complicated reason I won't go into now) but not putting the string around the door knob--and they've been respecting the closed door. Good Ts! And every evening when I go home, there are two black T-noses poking through the opening, waiting for me to open the door and give them the okay.

I do love my Ts!
