Getting used to the deep freeze?

The windchill was 24 below zero this morning. Tomorrow it's only supposed to be 10 below. When I went out to lunch, I thought, "hm, it's not nearly as cold as it was." Sheesh.

We're under a winter storm watch--they're predicting another 4-6 inches by Thursday evening. Oh yay. It's bad enough shoveling snow, but it's absolutely worse when I have to work it in at lunch or after work. However, I'm deeply grateful that it's snow and not ice.

I assume it's the storm coming in that's knocked me off kilter. I fell asleep on the couch last night. I NEVER fall asleep on the couch! I will lie down on purpose to take a nap, and I sometimes doze off over a book in bed, but I have never before fallen asleep on the couch with knitting in my hand while watching a DVD. And I feel like I might do it again tonight if I'm not careful. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting sick, so I'm blaming it on the storm coming in.
