Thank you, Sue!

I came home to find a bag of yarn at my door. A knitting friend had culled her stash and delivered it to me! Included were:
  • 15 skeins of Paton's Astra in variegated blue--easily enough for an afghan
  • 1 large skein of Paton's Classic Wool in olive green--a nice scarf or hat
  • 2 full and 1 partial skein of Bernat Baby in bright yellow
  • 2 skeins of Plymouth Jeannee, a cotton/acrylic blend in grey
  • 3 skeins of Yin, a wool/silk/bamboo blend, black
  • at least 1 and possibly 2 skeins of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Lace, black
  • an unidentified but very very soft yarn partially knit up into Sivia Harding's Little Leaf Lace Scarf, complete with a very nice pair of birch needles

Meanwhile, I'm still working on my Ugly Shawl, and nearing the end. I have one more ball to finish up, and then I'll add edging, and voila. I don't think I'll go to the trouble of blocking it; it really doesn't need it. Making it has freed up several cubbies in my yarn storage center, so I may spend some afternoon in the near future, happily rearranging yarn. It'll be nice to get some of it up off the floor!

Thank you, Sue!
