Natter (not MORE garden pictures!)

Well, yes, 'fraid so. But I can't believe how lush everything in the garden is thanks to this cool wet weather. I go out every night and just marvel over everything.

Hostas, brunneras, European ginger, vinca, dwarf goatsbeard, ferns, columbine, astilbes, heuchera--lots of goodies!

Winchester Cathedral, a David Austen rose, backed up with lambs ears and woodruff.

Sweetpeas. No sign of buds yet, but the vines are shooting up, nice and strong.

Senior moment: I can't remember the name of this rose, but it's a French Romantica Rose from Meilland. I've been feeding the roses faithfully this year, and this rose is obviously happy about it. Backed up with dusty miller, which sets it off beautifully.

The rose-of-sharon needs a haircut. I can't wait for the lilies to bloom--there's tons of buds. The daylilies are setting buds, too.

The dusty miller backs up the cool end of the spectrum just as well as it does the hot end.

The clematis under the lilac bush.

Adorable babies, wondering if it's time to go in yet.

My family calls this "England weather" and we're glad for it, too.

I love the blends of colors in your garden--maybe knitting and gardening go together in that way.

Where'd you put Obsidian?
