when I got Timber, I set up the living room with the expectation that one dog would snooze on the futon and the other would snooze on the loveseat.
Well, Timber spends most of his time back in the bedroom, in Taenzer's crate. And when he does come into the living room, he sits on the far end of the loveseat only if I'm sitting on the other end, between him and Taenzer.
Thinking this over, it occured to me that she must have put some claim on it that I haven't noticed. As I was mulling it over this morning, I saw her doing this:

Brat. No doubt it will take me another 5 years to figure out what to do about it.
I had planned to finish my pink socks this morning. But after I finished shaping the toe, I realized they were about one repeat too short, and it also looked like I'd done too many plain rounds about halfway down the foot. Mental note: Don't snip the yarn for the toe of the 2nd sock until AFTER you've measured it against the first sock. At any rate, I've unraveled back to the heel and am ready to start the foot again. I'm having a bit of trouble "reading" my knitting in this sock, but hopefully I won't mess it up too much.
