
You know those pictures you always see of German Shepherds posed with one back foot underneath them and one out behind? I've read that what you're aiming for is to get the forward foot more or less under the middle of the dog and set the behind foot so that the bone between the foot and the hock is vertical, and you want the dog to stand square on the two front feet.
So take a gander at the pic above. They do that naturally. At least Timber does. This isn't the best possible shot, but it shows it off pretty well. Cool, eh?

Beuatiful boy! And yeah, no denying it, springs almost here.
I've been patrolling the garden since Tuesday but not a speck of greenery has reared its head. I hate this time of year in Illinois.
