blue Tuesday

It's been raining two days; the dogs haven't been out except to potty, and they're both very unhappy. This is when I should be training training training--working those bright little minds. My excuse for today is that I had a headache and upset stomach all day today, and came home, changed my clothes, took the dogs out to potty, and then laid down on the bed and slept for an hour. At least my headache is gone.

I'm feeling overwhelmed again. I got caught up during break, sort of, but it seems like I go so slowly these days, and everything else goes much faster. I think I scheduled a hair appointment for a time I've got PT. I'll have to call her back in the morning and check.

I did get dishes washed tonight. Since I hate washing dishes, that's a good thing, I guess.

The geese have been coming back. Last year we had a pair raise a brood of fluffy little goslings at the pond in front of the building where I work, and I noticed this morning that there was a pair of geese feeding by the pond. I wonder if it's the same pair and we'll have babies to watch again this year. If we do I'll try to get some pictures.

The feather and fan scarf is coming along. It's going to a respectable length, I'm glad to say. It feels like it's going fast because it's only two pattern repeats and 10 edge stitches--about 6" wide unblocked. So it goes fast, and it's impossible to lose your place, and it's just very pretty and soft. I don't need another scarf, but it's a pleasure to work with such nice yarn and make something so pretty.

I know how you and the pups are feeling. It's been raining the second day and it's nasty outside. I'm glad you found something you like to knit. I knit one shawl after another, don't really need more, since I don't use them, but I love to knit them anyway. I give them away on occasion, but some are special and I'll keep them. Maybe some day I like wearing them.
