My brother sent me a pic entitled "Buddha Boy," of his baby wearing the booties and little hat I made.

He's a cutie, isn't he? I'm relieved to see the hat doesn't look as weird on the baby as it did sitting around by itself!

He says the booties will never make it through the winter, but the hat might. That's easily fixed--make the same things, but with heavier yarn. Or maybe I could do one of Debbie Bliss's gorgeous little baby Arans, in a 12 or 18-month size--my brother says the baby is totally huge and growing fast. They're going to look for 6-9 months clothes, so it seems wise to do 12 months to get him through the winter!
