Just in time

I was preparing to toss this piece of junk out into the road to watch it smash. It has taken me, and I'm not exaggerating, 19 minutes to get to this spot right here using my laptop. Boy, I wasted a bunch of money when I bought this, and that is not fun to admit. And then I had to add more memory and buy software and do this and that. Yes, I have dial-up, but the desktop that this computer was supposed to replace is faster than this, and it has less memory and the same amount of RAM. So I suppose the next replacement is a new modem. Grrrr.

I hate to spend $25 a month on broadband, but maybe, now I have this pay-as-you-go cell phone, I could drop my long-distance land-line service and afford it that way.

Something has to be done, or my blood pressure will spray out my ears.


And now I've completely forgotten what I logged on here to post. *sigh*
