Well, Annie spent the night in "her room" last night, so she wasn't responsible for the big wet spot I stepped in--barefoot, of course--on the rug in the kitchen this morning. So I don't have to shut Annie up at night any more, but now I have to figure out which dog is having problems. I think it's Timber, and I think I'll take him to the vet tomorrow.
I think it's Timber because:
1. His appetite's been off lately; I now have to sit beside the former Mr. Hoover and encourage him to eat.
2. He's been losing weight.
3. He tires easily when we go outside
4. Yesterday when I let him out at 8 a.m., he peed a river; then an hour later, when we went out to the puppy pen, he peed a lot again. (no indoor peeing last night)
5. This morning he didn't have to pee nearly so bad as yesterday (since--possibly--he relieved himself in the middle of the night).
I guess I'll close him in his crate tonight. Of course, if I wind up with another wet spot somewhere tomorrow, then I'll know it's Taenzer...
I've had cats with UTIs, but never a dog.
I got a call on my brand-new business cell phone yesterday. It was someone from the national pet-sitters organization saying my credit card hadn't gone through. I must have typed it in wrong, because it's current, I've been making my payments on time, and it's only got a couple of hundred dollars on it. It was a surprise to have a call on that phone! I set up a different account for the pet-sitting, too, and there was an e-mail welcoming me to the pet-sitters organization, so now I'm confused. I have to call them tomorrow and try to get it straightened out.
