Sheesh. Was proudly knitting the last row of the first repeat of my Ocean Moods scarf and counting, just to make sure, and I'll be a dirty name (as my mother used to say) if I didn't have 10 extra stitches.
Saw where and how I'd messed up, but too tired and fuzzy to fix it, and dropped stitches all over the place when I tried to rip back to the row beneath, so wound up ripping the whole thing out. Again.
This is NOT that difficult a pattern. In fact, it's downright easy. I've made yards of lace edging using these same needles and similar size yarn/thread. I should be able to do this. It shouldn't be this difficult.
Right now I feel very frustrated and very stupid, and not relaxed at all.

Hi T-mom!
Your model is very cute and the shawl, just lovely! Simple is often best! What kind are your Shepherds? It looks like they have a long coat, I like that! ;o)
Thanks for the kind words about the shawl. :) Yup, the Ts (Taenzer and Timber) are both long-coats. Taenzer is from the breeder of my late, beloved Stella, and Timber from a rescue group. Funnily enough, I don't really care for long-coated GSDs, so I figure there's some kind of cosmic lesson involved in my now having TWO of them. *lol* And of course, I adore both of them. I loved the story of Biko throwing her tennis ball into the pool to test the waters. They're so smart and so funny!
